How We Measure

Shoes

All shoe sizes given in US sizing unless otherwise specified.

Bottoms

WAIST: Pull the front of the pants up so it lines up evenly with the back. Measure straight across the waist. It is VERY important to be sure to pull the front completely up in line with the back, or else it will result in a smaller waist measurement, which is not the true accurate measurement.

FRONT RISE: Measure from the center of the crotch to the top of the waist.

BACK RISE: On the back, measure from the top of the waist to the center of the crotch.

UPPER THIGH: Start 1″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the thigh.

KNEE: Start 13″ down from the crotch, measure straight across the knee.

LEG OPENING: Measure across the very bottom of the leg at the opening.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the end of the leg.

FRONT LENGTH: Measure from the top seam near the collar to the bottom of the shirt.

CHEST: Measure straight across, from armpit to armpit.

SLEEVE: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

The Double Helix x Snake Oil Provisions Virgil G-1 Flight Jacket in Olive is a lighter weight vintage-inspired leather jacket made from supple olive horsehide leather.  This collaborative design is an entirely new jacket for Double Helix as they do not offer a G-1 in their lineup, and our iteration has an updated modern fit that's more tailored than a traditional or reproduction G-1.  We also added a two-way zippered front closure for improved wearability and opted for a lighter-weight horsehide (the same weight used on our Deviant LAW exclusive style).  With its cream mouton collar and black ribbed cuffs and waistband, this jacket looks incredible new and will age phenomenally with wear.  Model is 5'11", 175 lbs wearing size 40.

  • Made from 1-1.1mm vegetable tanned drab olive colored horsehide leather w/ semi-aniline finish made in Germany
  • Shell: 100% leather; lining: 100% cupro; ribbing: 100% wool

  • Genuine mouton collar (attached) and bi-swing shoulders w/ gusseted & vented under arms

PRE-ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Estimated manufacturing completion dates are subject to change, as manufacturing timelines are not an exact science. Cancelled Pre-Orders are eligible for store credit only.  Pre-Orders will ship/ be eligible for pick up once balance payments are made. Balance payments are due within 14 days of balance payment due date. After 14 days of non-payment, customers who have not paid their balances will receive a gift card for their deposit and their shoes will be put into store inventory.
