Available in the states for the first time! This has honestly been a boot I've searched for (for myself) for a long time. The Pecos was years ago a Made-in-USA style, though not part of Red Wing Heritage's USA line. The 8188 has been a popular style with Red Wing's European and Asian customers for a while now and, historically, has had a kind of cult following in the states (you know who you are).
Its origins date back to the 1930s, and, over the years, the Pecos has evolved into a less traditional western boot while still retaining elements that made it so unique and recognizable. While a pull-on boot is a new silhouette entirely to SOP, it's surprisingly easy to wear and breaks in very comfortably.
